The Noosa Ferry offers limited accessibility available at Noosa Marina or Hastings St departures only. Onboard toilets are not suitable for guests with accessibility needs. If you require more accessible options, our new vessel HV Stillwater, which is designed with full accessibility in mind for a more comfortable experience. Please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to assist with your booking.

Here’s everything you need to know to make your Noosa Ferry Cruise experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. From ticketing details to accessibility, we’ve got you covered.

Where can I purchase a ticket?
You can purchase your ticket at most ferry stops just before boarding. For Stops 2 and 6, tickets are available onboard the vessel (credit card only).
Do I need to pre-book?
Pre-booking is not necessary, unless you’re traveling with a group of 15 or more.
What age is considered a minor?
Minors are defined as 5-17 years. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and under 5s travel free.
Is there a toilet onboard?
Yes, there is 1 toilet on board. However, it’s not suitable for wheelchairs.
Can I bring a pram?
Prams are welcome, but it’s preferred if they can be easily folded when necessary.
Is the ferry wheelchair accessible?
The ferry is wheelchair accessible at Stop 1 (Tewantin) and Stop 7 (Hastings Street) for light, non-motorised wheelchairs. If you plan to use Stop 7, please call ahead so we can assist with your boarding.
Can I BYO onboard?
Yes, you’re welcome to BYO beverages in a small cooler bag (no eskies). Alternatively, if you’re boarding from Noosa Marina, you can purchase a selection of premium wine and beer from our Ticket Office.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we’re pet-friendly! Dogs are welcome, as long as they can sit on your lap if the vessel gets busy.
Where is the Hastings Street Jetty?
The Hastings Street Jetty is located on the riverside of the Elysium Noosa Resort.
Can I charter the ferry privately?
Yes! We offer a variety of private charter options to suit your Noosa event.
What days do you operate?
We operate every day, except for Christmas Day.

Did the return ferry from Hastings St to Noosa marina? Easy to book tickets and access the wharf. Staff were all very friendly and the boat was easy to access both levels once on board. The commentary is interesting but not too much. Background music adds to the trip. Scenery is wonderful! Bonus is from the marina you can buy a drink to have on board on the way back!

Such a great outing. Easy to book and easy to find. We did 2 of their tours as the first was so interesting. A great way to get a different view of Noosa, and the amazing homes along the waterway. Also saw lots of bird life. The skipper was very informative.

Brilliant, just brilliant! During this holiday in Noosaville, we used the ferry on more frequently than on previous visits. It really is such a great resource for the tourist. For the first time, we bought a day pass and boy, do you get value for money. We spent time in both Noosa (for a swim) and Tewantin for food and coffee, back to the hotel to change, lunch in Noosaville and then later in the day for the final two trips experiencing the glorious sunset.
